\u00c9rythr\u00e9e<\/h3><p>Le Secr\u00e9tariat de l\u2019Eparchie catholique de Keren (CESK) a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1996 pour coordonner les services socio-pastoraux de l\u2019Eparchie (dioc\u00e8se) de Keren afin de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e9mergents de la population. Le CESK compte sept d\u00e9partements de programme:<\/p><ul><li>D\u00e9veloppement des femmes<\/li><li>Sant\u00e9<\/li><li>\u00c9ducation<\/li><li>D\u00e9partement pastoral<\/li><li>D\u00e9partement du VIH et du SIDA<\/li><li>D\u00e9veloppement et des urgences<\/li><li>D\u00e9partement des finances.<\/li><\/ul><p>En raison de la dictature en \u00c9rythr\u00e9e, la plupart des ONG et des organisations humanitaires ne peuvent pas entrer dans le pays pour offrir une aide humanitaire. Le Catholic Eparchial Secretariat Keren (CESK) est l\u2019une des seules organisations \u00e0 aider de nombreuses femmes, enfants et hommes de la r\u00e9gion par le biais de ses activit\u00e9s socio-pastorales. En raison des guerres en cours (\u00c9thiopie et Soudan), des s\u00e9cheresses et de la famine, de nombreuses femmes ont perdu leur mari. Elles se retrouvent donc \u00e0 la t\u00eate du foyer. Elles s\u2019occupent de leurs enfants et des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es tout en essayant de gagner leur vie.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Caritas Pro Vitae Gradu soutient deux projets principaux g\u00e9r\u00e9s par le CESK :<\/p><h5><strong>Donner aux femmes les moyens d\u2019agir<\/strong><\/h5><p>L\u2019objectif de ce projet est d\u2019aider les femmes \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur niveau de vie, de les \u00e9manciper des barri\u00e8res socio-\u00e9conomiques et culturelles et de les aider \u00e0 devenir des contributrices autonomes au d\u00e9veloppement de leurs familles et de leurs communaut\u00e9s. Ce projet comporte trois programmes principaux :<\/p><ul><li><strong>\u00c9ducation<\/strong>, qui se concentre sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation sanitaire<\/li><li><strong>Sensibilisation<\/strong>, qui se concentre sur la formation professionnelle<\/li><li>Le programme de\u00a0<strong>g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de revenus<\/strong>. Il propose des programmes de micro-\u00e9pargne et de cr\u00e9dit pour aider les femmes \u00e0 cr\u00e9er de petites entreprises. Ainsi qu\u2019un fonds renouvelable permettant d\u2019accorder de petits pr\u00eats sans int\u00e9r\u00eat.<\/li><\/ul><p>Ce programme fonctionne en regroupant les ressources de 5 \u00e0 30 femmes sur un compte d\u2019\u00e9pargne. En accordant des microcr\u00e9dits \u00e0 partir de ce compte d\u2019\u00e9pargne collectif \u00e0 ces m\u00eames femmes lorsqu\u2019elles sont pr\u00eates \u00e0 cr\u00e9er leur propre entreprise.<\/p><h5><strong>Autonomiser les femmes vuln\u00e9rables sur le plan \u00e9conomique, social et \u00e9ducatif pour assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, atteindre l\u2019autosuffisance et la capacit\u00e9 de transformation.<\/strong><\/h5><p>L\u2019objectif du projet est de donner \u00e0 255 m\u00e9nages vuln\u00e9rables dirig\u00e9s par des femmes, comptant 1300 membres, les moyens de parvenir \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et \u00e0 l\u2019autosuffisance financi\u00e8re. Ces femmes atteignent l\u2019autosuffisance en distribuant des services de coiffure et de barbier dans 3 villages. En distribuant 2\u2019500 poulets \u00e0 100 familles dirig\u00e9es par des femmes. En offrant une formation en poterie. En cr\u00e9ant des jardins familiaux et des centres de formation culinaire. En organisant des campagnes de sensibilisation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9. population actuelle de l\u2019\u00c9rythr\u00e9e est de 3 546 421 habitants et le pays est class\u00e9 182e sur 189 comme l\u2019un des pays les plus pauvres selon l\u2019indice de d\u00e9veloppement humain. Le pays partage ses fronti\u00e8res avec le Soudan, l\u2019\u00c9thiopie et Djibouti et poss\u00e8de un vaste littoral le long de la mer Rouge, adjacent \u00e0 l\u2019Arabie saoudite et au Y\u00e9men. 80 % de la population vit de l\u2019agriculture et de l\u2019\u00e9levage, mais de nombreuses menaces p\u00e8sent sur l\u2019agriculture, comme les s\u00e9cheresses fr\u00e9quentes, la d\u00e9sertification, l\u2019\u00e9rosion des sols et le surp\u00e2turage. Par cons\u00e9quent, le pays n\u2019est en mesure de r\u00e9pondre de mani\u00e8re ad\u00e9quate qu\u2019\u00e0 60 % de la demande alimentaire du pays. L\u2019\u00c9rythr\u00e9e souffre d\u2019un niveau \u00e9lev\u00e9 de pauvret\u00e9, avec des taux de ch\u00f4mage importants et un acc\u00e8s limit\u00e9 aux activit\u00e9s g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrices de revenus. Keren est la capitale de la r\u00e9gion d\u2019Anseba, dont 85% de la superficie totale est connue comme l\u2019un des endroits les plus chauds et les plus secs d\u2019Afrique. Le probl\u00e8me le plus difficile de cette r\u00e9gion est la famine et la s\u00e9cheresse. La production agricole de cette r\u00e9gion ne couvre que 21% de la demande alimentaire totale.<\/p><p>Depuis 1996, le dioc\u00e8se de Keren organise chaque ann\u00e9e de nombreux projets pour aider les personnes les plus vuln\u00e9rables de leur communaut\u00e9 par le biais de la formation, de l\u2019\u00e9ducation et du soutien au microcr\u00e9dit.
