Ofrece comida, techo, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, asesoramiento psicol\u00f3gico, educaci\u00f3n y otros servicios fundamentales.<\/p><p>Se han establecido varios centros en Am\u00e9rica Latina, en Congregaci\u00f3n Scalabriniana fue fundada en 1887 por el obispo beato Juan Bautista Scalabrini para acompa\u00f1ar a los millones de italianos que migraron hacia el continente Americano. Buscaban alejarse de las consecuencias de la Revoluci\u00f3n Industrial y la crisis econ\u00f3mica de Europa. Desde finales del siglo XIX hasta despu\u00e9s de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, los Scalabrinianos se dedicaron a establecer:<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Parroquias<\/li><li>Escuelas<\/li><li>Hospitales<\/li><li>Centros de servicios al migrante<\/li><li>Orfanatos<\/li><li>Enfermer\u00edas<\/li><li>Asociaciones de migrantes<\/li><li>Comit\u00e9s de servicio.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Durante los a\u00f1os 60, la Congregaci\u00f3n Scalabriniana extendi\u00f3 su misi\u00f3n a todos los migrantes y cobr\u00f3 presencia mundial. Como consecuencia, los programas y servicios de ayuda a los migrantes se multiplicaron, especialmente los dedicados a los migrantes, los refugiados, los desplazados internos y los marinos m\u00e1s necesitados y vulnerables.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>En 2007 los Scalabrinianos establecieron la Red de Migraci\u00f3n Internacional Scalabrini para supervisar los programas de protecci\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n de la dignidad y de los derechos de los migrantes, refugiados, desplazados internos as\u00ed como marinos a trav\u00e9s del globo.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Como l\u00edder internacional en integraci\u00f3n, protecci\u00f3n, investigaci\u00f3n y ayuda, SIMN proporciona comida, refugio, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, ayuda psicol\u00f3gica, asistencia legal, formaci\u00f3n vocacional, inserci\u00f3n laboral, educaci\u00f3n y otros servicios a las 350 000 personas que se desplazan todos los a\u00f1os; opera en 34 pa\u00edses y cinco continentes; y administra m\u00e1s de 250 entidades Scalabrini, incluyendo hospitales, centros de bienvenida a migrantes, escuelas primarias, instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n y viveros de empleo.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>SIMN disfruta del estatus consultivo de ECOSOC en las Naciones Unidas. Colabora estrechamente con la Agencia de la ONU para los Refugiados (ACNUR), la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM) y el Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA). Tambi\u00e9n colabora con socios nacionales e internacionales, entre ellos algunos gobiernos.<\/p><p>SIMN es la organizaci\u00f3n de primera l\u00ednea que lidera la respuesta a la crisis migratoria Venezolana en Am\u00e9rica Latina. Seg\u00fan algunas estimaciones, desde 2015 han salido de Venezuela hasta 4 millones de personas. Con una red regional \u00fanica de 26 centros de bienvenida en M\u00e9xico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia, Brasil, Ecuador, Per\u00fa, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina y Uruguay, los Scalabrinianos sirven todos los a\u00f1os a miles de Venezolanos.
